OgreMax Material

 

The OgreMax Material can be applied to the current selection in the 'Get' Material menu:

The OgreMax material is a Softimage/XSI real-time shader that plugs into a the standard material.

Softimage/XSI 7.0 and later

To add nodes to the OgreMax material, right click on the standard material or any OgreMax node, then select Add OgreMax Nodes:

XSI 6.x

To add nodes to the OgreMax material, you need to select the appropriate Softimage/XSI preset file. This can be achieved by clicking on any of the More... items in the Nodes menu:

On a system where XSI 6.01 is installed in the default location, presets are installed in the C:\Softimage\XSI_6.01\Addons\OgreMaxSceneExporter\Data\DSPresets\Shaders\Material directory:

Double-clicking on the OgreMaxMaterial node in the Material Editor displays the material's settings:
