Scene Settings Dialog - Materials
The Materials page of the Scene Settings dialog:
Material Export Control
- Export Materials to Separate Files - Indicates whether materials should be exported to separate files.
Material Naming
- Prefix - A prefix prepended to exported material names.
- "No Material" Name - Name of the default material assigned to objects that have no material. This default material is actually created in the exported material file.
- Create Extra Materials if Necessary - Indicates whether extra materials should be created during the export of the scene. Enabling this setting is necessary for a visually correct export in some situations since some settings, such as face culling method and vertex winding order, are defined at the mesh level in the source scene but at the material level in the exported scene.
Additional Materials
A list of materials to export in addition to whatever materials are exported with the scene.
Ignore Materials
A list of materials to ignore during the export process. This is useful if you manually create your materials outside of Maya.
